Amazing staff!! They will put a smile on your face every time you walk thru the door! And of course their food is delicious! Me and my friends and family have breakfast here weekly!
This place has been around New Iberia forever it seems. It is right in the middle of downtown with plenty of parking across the street. It has a warm friendly atmosphere. It smells walking into your grandma's kitchen. The servings are generous and the food is tasty. I had pancakes with butter and syrup, bacon and link sausage. The food comes to your table fresh and hot. The staff treats you as if you were a guest at their home. They are open for breakfast and lunch.
Great breakfast. The restaurant was busy but with that the staff was still awesome, & the service was outstanding. The omelettes my husband & I had was delicious, and the French toast tasted like my grandmother made it!!!???????? The rest of my family, including my mother, brother, sisters and cousin enjoyed the food immensely. We will be back.
The food is amazing and the ladies in there are super sweet. It's really cool establishment. Wish they still had lunch but for now, it's breakfast only.
Great breakfasts cooked to order and hot Community Coffee ☕️. Nice atmosphere and welcoming staff. Remember to tip your waitresses!! They are open for lunch also with delicious food. Follow them on Facebook for lunch menus. Centralized in historic downtown New Iberia. Stroll along the bayou or sit at the gazebo afterwards.
We were immediately greeted by the staff! My fiance raved about the hashbrown casserole and it did not disappoint! I requested softer bacon and was immediately accommodated! Mrs. Tiffany was an absolute JOY to speak with! Our bill was $15 and we left a $20 tip! All around great experience and food!
Wonderful menu. My sister and spouse loved the shrimp and grits. I enjoyed the pancakes with eggs. The only thing I'd suggest is make sure your pancakes and eggs are served together. I got my eggs way in advance of my pancakes.
Came to New Iberia to see family from FL and was searching for a good down home place for breakfast. Victor’s absolutely surpassed what we were looking for. The staff was great, the food was amazing and the atmosphere is pure Cajun hospitality! It was so good we traveled half an hour out the way to go back before we left LA ???? We will definitely be back the next trip!
We were having some RV work done and referred here while we waited. What a treat, it was an amazing little cafe with great food, a popular local joint in New Iberia. We had delicious shrimp and grits and we have had some awesome shrimp grits in Savannah GA and they were great. Fluffy biscuits. It is simple, cool atmosphere all around with historical stuff on the walls. They have a large Veteran gift tree right in the eating area. Such a cool place and highly recommended.
*BEST BREAKFAST IN NEW IBERIA!* I honestly cannot believe they're closing this week. Got in the southern potatoes, grits, eggs, and bacon before the doors close forever. This is a town CORNERSTONE and should be saved by someone!
